Italy and The environment 

  The country that is geographically found in the centre of the Mediterranean, the state that represents  the heart of the new Europe, and not only in a geographical sense, can and must be the central promoter of a rebirth of the political sense of  history that, in this phase, must be built respecting those cultural, social and environmental aspects which are so greatly discussed.

A population’s civilization manifests itself in the degree to which it gives the maximum guarantee to all those components that are the true and only wealth of a territory: to the old and never outdated concepts of Legality, Brotherhood and Equality we can add (with all that this implies) the term of Biodiversity.  

The logic of  future development will, in truth, be centred on this last term of reference. This development can only be sustainable  depending on the extent to which a  citizen is at the same time both bio-diverse and a guardian of biodiversity.
