This page is born in collaboration between TERREDELSUD, the Agrarian Faculty of of Florence and the Esmabama Association, in Mozambique. The plan is turned to the Students, Graduated or Investigators of the Faculty of Florence, with the purpose to construct to a technical and scientific bridge between this Faculty and the Mission in Mozambique. How many wanted to have greater information or to contribute in any way, they can write to nelmondo@terredelsud.org and receiving every useful element in such senso.

Classic Studi:Maturitá and Fundamental Course of Philosophy and Theology near the Episcopal Seminary of Padova (Facoltá di Teologia of Northern Italy - Section of Padova).
Ordered to Clergyman to Padova the 6 of june 1976.
Vice Parish priest to Galzignano Terme (PD) from 1976 to 1980.
In the 1980 part (on its demand) for Ecuador, in quality of Missionary Diocesano and you Country remains until 1988 with the responsibility of some Parishes in the Andean zone of Nord de.
In 1988 it asks the Bishop of Padova to leave definitively the Diocese in order to enter in the Congregation of the Comboniani Missionaries, for (said in terms simple)"to specialize themselves definitively like missionary".

In October of 1988 it enters in the Comboniano Novitiate (period of study and reflection) of Advanced Venegono (GOES) and you it remains until 1990, but one parenthesis of 6 months to London for an English course. 20 May 1990 begins to make part officially of the Congregation of the Comboniani Missionaries and asks to work in Mozambique (to that time in guerrilla situation).
After a course of Portuguese of 3 months, in Portugal, it arrives in Mozambique in February of 1991 and assumes the responsibility, in name of the Diocese of Beira, of an immense zone (25,000 Km2) comprised in the 3 Districts of Buzi, Chibabava and Machanga, where the 4 Missions of Estaquinha, Barada are localized, Mangunde and Machanga, in that time nationalized and semidestroyed.

The Mission 

With the legal responsibility of Parish priest, with to the pastorale activity it begins the reconstruction and the widening of the 4 Missions in order to organize 4 Primary and Secondary Schools with you respect medical Convitti and Dispensari to you. At the same time one begins also all activity of agricultural and zootecnico character with several purposes (improvement of the vitto of the pupils, professional formation of the same ones, production and commercialization of the products in sight of the future self-financing of the 4 same Missions, proposal of models of development for the local populations…) 
Statistical data put into effect them: Schools 6,515 pupils (from the 1ª to 12ª the class) of which 2382 convittori (scholastic year 2005);Centri of Health: 63.000 consulte external, 7,000 vaccinazioni, 2,800 consulte of pregnant women, 350 parts (given total of 2004) 
The management of the 4 Missions with these 3 fields of attivitá Education, Sanitá and Settore Agro-Zootecnico) has originated the creation of the Esmabama Association of which he is Director.
