The European Agronomists and Foresters

European Agronomists and Foresters have to be promoters of Sustainable Development.
A Sustainable Development that has to put the eco-compatibility of interventions and policy at the centre of International programs of Development.
The development of the European and international environmental heritage has to be at the centre of the political policies of governments.
The development and conservation of Biodiversity has to be the principal concern for all Socioeconomic Systems.
A correct equilibrium between human activities and the use of territorial resources has to be the general objective of all policies in the world.
The Agronomists and Foresters of Europe can contribute with their knowledge to an evolution of socioeconomic thought through their activity of planning and consultation in the institutional roles that they hold all over Europe.
The European Agronomists and Foresters can occupy a central role in the future socioeconomic model, contributing to a renewed sensibility with respect to the value of the ecosystem.
Through its site, Terredelsud appeals to all the European Agronomists and Foresters so that they can take on an ever increasing commitment towards all European policies.
If the 1996 Cork Conference in Ireland set man as the sentry for the rural territory, we believe that the European Agronomists and Foresters can assume the role of sentry for all the Socioeconomic policies that in general can have repercussions on the environment, and in particular, on the ecosystem and on biodiversity.
In this way, even through our actions we can help to rebalance the future world in the interest of all populations and of a system of peace that is structured on notable foundations.
We believe that every Agronomist and Forester of our continent is able, through their own responsible action, to improve the small world that surrounds them.
For this reason, through its little appeal, Terredelsud wants to conduct voluntary service not only in lands of the South, but in every small portion of the World.
Where there are either small or great injustices towards man and the environment, there can be found lands of the South, be they in the North, the East or the West.
For this reason we want to give you a small contribution, pointing out the Institutions of reference for the European Agronomists and Foresters.
